Behold The Power of God, Christopher Bond for Brass Band
This is not a hymn nor a gentle religious melody.
Two energenic outer sections fall either side of a more lyrical middle section featuring solo cornet.
Dedicated to Goff Richards, the title references his name. Godfrey translates as "God-peace" and Richards meaning "Power".
Written and premiered by the Cornwall Youth Brass Band for whom the late Goff Richards was Musical Adviser at the time.
