Lancashire born Jack Hylton (1892-1965) is possibly one of the most influential bandleaders of the British dance band "Golden Age".
 
This piece pays tributr to this remarkable musician in three diverse movements.
 
Commissioned by Chris Osborn and the University of Lancaster Music Society Wind Band to commemmorate the 50th anniversary of the University.
