The JP044 MKII is a very lively Eb Baritone Saxophone with good engineering and excellent performance levels. Ideally priced for schools, ensembles and semi pro players, the JP044 MKII is capable of a very high standard of play. Comfortable at a roar or a whisper, it benefits from a smooth and light key action and has a uniform tone production through the full range. 

 The JP044 MKII Eb Baritone Saxophone is crafted from yellow brass throughout and benefits from a robust and durable fully ribbed construction with the inclusion of strong keywork to ensure the instrument is hard wearing in tough situations. The instrument includes a low A mechanism enabling players to reach the full baritone playing range. 

 Although capable of a very high standard of play, these instruments are priced to be attractive in the starter player market. The mouthpiece that is supplied is fine to get a novice started, but an upgrade mouthpiece will allow the instrument to reach it's full potential. The Yamaha range of mouthpieces are a cost effective option and will offer a good improvement, a mid range or professional mouthpiece will lift the performance to the highest levels. 

 The instrument is supplied with everything required to get a player started including a JP Mouthpiece, hard wheeled case and accessory kit (mouthpiece cap, ligature, and JP reed). The hard moulded plastic case is rigid ensuring maximum protection for your instrument and includes solid wheels for easy transport. High quality components are included as standard including the use of YKK zips throughout. The case design includes an external storage pocket suitable for small accessories and sheet music.
